Specific position responsibilities include:
• Analyzing topographic aerial (LiDAR) survey data sets for completeness and accuracy.
• Producing digital as-built PLS-CADD models of existing transmission lines.
• Analyzing transmission lines for minimum conductor-to-ground clearance and possible impairments caused by trees or high brush.
• Conduct thermal line rating analysis on existing transmission lines,.
• Reporting results using ESRI ArcGIS.
• Team participation including checking the work of others and leading project teams.
• Manipulation of LiDAR data utilizing multiple engineering applications.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Requires professional licensure in Engineering or the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
• PLS-CADD experience is preferred.
• Microstation or AutoCAD experience.
• A working knowledge of general surveying principles and geometry are desired. Must possess the ability to master multiple computer software programs, work independently, and organize and prioritize assignments.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
