I can afford to pay up to $500/month for housing. Last summer I rented a bedroom in a home with a woman in the Middlebury area and found this situation quite agreeable. My cat, Patches, gets along with other cats, but she is an indoor cat only. I would not want her to be able to get outside.

A little about me:
I am a twenty-eight-year-old high school English teacher from the Boston area. I do not smoke. I enjoy cooking as a form of relaxation, bike rides to rejuvenate, and theater, art, and literature to be inspired. I’m a quiet person to have around, but very much enjoy socializing with whomever I’m living with. This will be my second summer at Bread Loaf. The program takes 4-5 summers to complete. It also looks like there are a lot of "mansions" for sale around the state - we were thinking we might be able to persuade the owners to rent it to us for 3 days (Friday-Sunday, to allow for prep and clean-up) for a substantial rate ($2k-$3k).

What we need:

-PET FRIENDLY! ( 3 dogs total, petsitting my brothers 2 plus mine while hes on deployment, have "Soft Claws" so no scratching up hardwood flooring!)
-Room to move around. I have a 2 year old who loves to play, a 6'5 tall husband, 3 dogs and 1 baby on the way.
-A place around Burlington and St. Albans. (Swanton, St. A, Milton, Georgia, Fairfax etc) I work in St. A, him in Burlington.
-A 1st floor main living area.
-Laundry hookups (w/d included would be great, but not necessary, I can provide)
-Budget- $1600/mo if utilities included, $1300/mo if none included- might be able to budge a bit for a nice place
-Move in ready (cant do a lot of work working 12 hr days and having a 2 yr old)

What would be NICE:
-Fenced in yard... actually... any yard to play fetch in
-Garage or Basement for storage

-Single family home or townhouse so no overhead noise (3rd shifters sleep all day)
