We're looking for a bassist and a 2nd guitarist who can alternate between rhythm and leads for a newly forming Alt. Rock/Punk band down in Montpelier. Already have drums, guitar and female vocals.

Need someone who has their own professional equipment and transportation to Montpelier for practice and has some prior band/touring experience. Someone between the ages of 20-30. We'd be practicing 1 to 2 times a week on weeknights and weekends, the more flexible your schedule is the better.

Probably won't be playing shows for a little while - this is more for fun at the moment as all of us live pretty busy lives, but when we do it wouldn't be more than once or twice a month locally. Eventually will try to play out of state or do a little bit of touring.

Influences include: Jawbox, Burning Airlines, Channels, The Bronx, Queens of The Stone Age, Hot Snakes, Drive Like Jehu, Rocket From The Crypt, Polar Bear Club, At The Drive-In + more, but if you listen to these bands you get the idea!

I auditioned on November 7, 2009 for the Burlington First Night Rising Star Search. I pre- recorded one of my singles titled “Fall Away” with the piano and guitar. I then sang to this at the University Mall in Burlington. This competition has been the launch pad for many teen musicians over the years. Twelve musicians will be chosen to perform at First Night Burlington at the Memorial Auditorium on New Year’s Eve.

Now, the Burlington Free Press recorded music videos of each performance the day of the auditions and has put them on their website.
