The VYCC believes in the value of personal responsibility, hard work, education, and respect for the environment, and brings this message to Corps Members, ages 16-24, who work, live, and study together in small groups, completing priority conservation and park management projects throughout Vermont under the guidance of highly-trained leaders.<br>

The VYCC is looking for a full-time Administrative Coordinator who will focus on administrative and accounting responsibilities for the organization. Primary responsibilities will include fiscal bookkeeping, office supply and equipment management, technology user support for day-to-day operations, and a variety of administrative tasks associated with operating VYCC’s field programs.<br>
This is an ideal position for a highly motivated team player with strong fiscal skills, an eye for detail, and an interest in executing financial, administrative, and day-to day operations independently. The Administrative Coordinator will be supervised by the Director of Finance and Technology.<br>

Primary Responsibilities<br>
- Complete accounting and financial tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and data entry<br>

Environmental Factors<br>
The Administrative Coordinator will be based out of the VYCC Headquarters office in Richmond, Vermont. The office currently houses twenty year-round staff. Varying numbers of interns and volunteers also assist with special projects throughout the year. The Administrative Coordinator must be able to maintain focus and productivity among a bustling office atmosphere while sharing space with others.<br>

<description><![CDATA[Vermont Design Works is a successful web, graphic design, and online marketing company. We’re Vermont-owned and strongly rooted in the local community, though we work with companies from all over the US and are starting to take on some international clients as well. <br>

We need a reliable part-timer to join our team to handle billing and other administrative tasks, including administrative support for the owner of the company. There will be some interaction with clients, but mostly this is a back-of-the-house position.<br>
<br>
In order to be considered for this job you must be web-savvy, have a good working knowledge of QuickBooks, Excel, and Word, and express yourself extremely well on the phone and in writing. You must also have transportation so that you can make bank deposits and pick up office supplies as needed. Professional writing, editing, and/or bookkeeping experience is a big plus but not mandatory.<br>

From a character standpoint, we’re looking for someone who is responsible, trustworthy, keeps their word, and follows through on promises. This job is part-time and our work environment is friendly and relaxed, but we take our obligations to our clients very, very seriously and we would expect you to do so as well. You must care deeply about the details and about how you represent our company to our clients. We don’t want someone who just does the job – we want someone who goes the extra mile to do it really right.
