help! I have an 18month old male pomeranian. I adopted him at 10mos. from a home where i am guessing he was an outside dog (due to fleas and conditions when i picked him up) He is the most loving, patient dog with my young child. I love him dearly, but... I cannot housebreak this dog. I have trained many dogs in the past and never had this problem. He was trained for a while, until we got a young female (both fixed). He started of just marking, even though he was neutered. It has escalated to the point where he will now go out in the morning after being crated all night, stay out for 30mins and then come in and proceed to pee and poop in the house... Now the dogs have a large crate that they share, the crate has a small "anteroom" area and is directly connected to a dog door where they can go in and out all day at their leisure. Outside is a large deck and a play area/run for the dogs (10x15ft). When he does go outside to the bathroom, he goes on the deck. I need help, suggestions, boot camp for dogs,,,, something. I love him, but cannot allow my house to be a giant potty... any and all suggestions are welcome...
