I am a Vermonter who is in NYC at the moment.

I'd like to come home during holidays this year and I am seeking a Burlington -area swap for my apt. in New York City.

I have a beautiful, aesthetic, calm, 2nd-flr. apt. in a chandelier-style historic brownstone on the UWS of Manhattan.

This is about 10 minutes from Lincoln Center, and in an area known for quaint restaurants, small shops, lovely side streets, trees, museums.

You will be equidistant between the Museum of Natural History and the New York Philharmonic, and across Central Park from MOMA.

This is a great location for all Manhattan sightseeing and holiday celebrating, but not on a busy block, very quiet.

The best of both worlds!

My studio is spacious, filled with light, plants, rugs, etc. and is one of only about 8 apts. in the building.

Neighbors are extremely respectful and also watch out for one another in general- this also means NO parties!!!!

Respect is key-- and will be the ticket to your return visits if you like the swap!

Here are specs:

- Large spacious studio, 2nd floor, period-style brownstone (carpet / dark wood/ chandeliers)

- 1 person or couple only, perhaps 2 friends w/ extra mattress.

- Definitely no more than 2 people maximum.

- Non-smokers, no pets

- Considerate and mature-i.e., safety conscious and thoughtful.

- Small damage security dep. required / I will do same for your apt. / house.

- I am seeking in BURLINGTON AREA only - not mid- or Southern- Vt.
