Looking to swap a week in our 2+ bdrm (has a very large loft) vacation house in Grafton, Vt on 27 very private acres with many beaver ponds. We are looking for a similar house to swap to in Snow Bird/ Alta, Ut area for feb. vacation 2009.
Our house is 5 yrs old, full kitchen, 1 large bath, wood stove in living rm, and large deck over looking main beaver pond. The loft has 2 futons with a cat- walk going to a private balcony. It is about 15 miles south of Okemo ski resort. Grafton Ponds is in the same town and has cross country skiing, ice skating, and a snow tubing hill. Several other ski destinations within easy drive. We do a lot of snow shoeing along the river and up the mountains in the back acreage and beyond. The town of Grafton was voted one of the top 10 most beautiful towns in the country, it is the classic old time vermont. Not one chain store of any kind.
