Champlain Valley Agency on Aging (CVAA) is looking for a friendly visitor to visit and read with a female elder in Bristol, VT.

Our goal here at CVAA is to "help people age with independence and dignity." We serve individuals 60 and over in Addison, Chittenden, Franklin, and Grand Isle counties. Our volunteers play an integral role in providing our clients with support and companionship through a variety of activities, such as friendly chats, assisting with grocery shopping, balancing checkbooks, going on outings, etc. The schedule is flexible and the rewards for both volunteer and elder are enormous.
